About Marilyn

My passion is to help mothers and their partners experience the incredible life changing journey of birth with confidence and joy!

Through my own birthing experiences, I realized how important it is to have another woman with me. A woman who believes in me and my ability to birth my babies normally.

My two hospital births, one birth center birth , and my last birth at home has given me a unique understanding of the birth choices faced by women today.

My wonderful birth experiences inspired me to become a Doula. I was trained by Penny Simkin, one of the founders of Doulas of North America, and received my certification in 2003. I have supported women and their partners both at home and hospital. I provide nurturing support throughout your pregnancy and birth.

After I attended a Hypnobabies birth as a doula I was so amazed by what I saw I became certified as a Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor.

Hypnobabies provides excellent tools for moms and their partners to be able to actually enjoy the birth of their baby. I am confident Hypnobabies complete childbirth education classes will enhance your experience too!
